Dr. Erik Cram has been with Central Utah Water Conservancy district since 2017 but has been conducting research for more than 15 years. Erik received his Bachelor of Science degree from Utah State University in biology with an emphasis in molecular biology. Erik went on to receive his doctorate in molecular and cell biology from Oregon State University with a thesis emphasizing host-pathogen interactions. After graduate school, Erik worked shortly in industry developing rapid diagnostic tests for clinicians. Erik became interested in water quality and decided to pursue a new career path when he accepted his current position as a laboratory manager for CUWCD.
